(A belated post)
On the afternoon of Saturday 11th June we hosted the Loe Beach Youth Sailing Regatta and had a great turn out of 11 teams! The first race was one of the closest races we have ever had at Loe Beach and provided some entertainment from the commiteeboat. Massive congrats to everyone who completed the course very quickly and with far fewer capsizes than last year :)

Loe Beach Youth Regatta is held on the Carrick roads in between Truro, Falmouth and St Mawes it is open to all children aged 6+ who are capable of sailing a single handed dinghy around a triangular course and righting it if it capsizes. The usual level of competitors is between RYA Youth Sailing Stages 2 and 4. The aim of the event is to have as much fun as possible whilst giving the children a taste of dinghy racing.
